Guwahati, June 10 (NKTV): As the Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma led BJP Government in Assam completes one month in Office, Leader of Opposition Debabrata Saikia has said the the government has not completed one month but a period of 61 months in Assam.
“The government’s War on Drugs is a great initiative but the same government was in power for the past five years. Did the government know nothing of such activities then or everything was going on in spite of the knowledge?” Saikia asked allegedly.
Saikia also demanded investigation against Cabinet Minister Sanjay Kishan regarding his alleged involvement in Corruption.
Regarding HSLC and HS examinations in the state, Saikia said “Many rural areas in Assam are yet suffering from the pandemic. The situation is not such that examinations can be conducted”.
