Guwahati, June 13 (NKTV): Assam on Saturday reported 3,463 new cases of Covid-19 with a positivity rate of 2.14 per cent.
It may be mentioned here that the positivity rate on June 11 was 2.16 per cent while that of the day before was 3.07 per cent. The state reported 42 deaths while 5,600 patients recovered from the infection.
At present, the total number of active cases in Assam stands at 43,298.
Sonitpur reported the highest of 267 cases followed by Cachar (264), Kamrup Metro (246) and Tinsukia (212).
Assam now has a recovery rate of 89.38 per cent.
