Guwahati, June 13 (NKTV): Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) Chief executive Member Pramod Boro has extended an ex-gratia of one lakh rupees to the family of victim of the Abhaikuti incident (Read News Here).
The compensation amount was handed over to the family by the Chairperson of Kokrajhar Municipality Board and Vice President of UPPL Pratibha Brahma on Saturday evening.
The Police has detained five persons in relation to the incident and interrogation is being conducted.
As per reports, Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa shall visit the victim’s family today.
