In a sensational incident, unidentified miscreants attacked noted contractor of Kokrajhar Sibu Brahma and his friend with sharp weapons near his house at Kokrajhar late last. According to locals, the incident took place around 10.35 pm. Brahma was immediately taken to MRM hospital, Kokrajhar and succumbed to hospital due to massive injuries.
His friend also received injuries. Sibu’s friend has been identified as Ashok Boro. Police arrested the attacker miscreant from Runikatha of Chirang after a strict follow up into the incident. He was identified as Didwm Narzary (19). The arrested was a courier carrier in Kokrajhar town.
