Guwahati, June 13 (NKTV): With flood starting to affect regions of Kaziranga National Park and animals moving towards highlands and roads, the Assam Forest Department and officials of Kaziranga National Park have set up numerous speed monitoring devices by the side of the highway in view of animal safety in the region. The devices record the registration number of vehicles that ply beyond the set speed limit.
Officials have informed that works of automated animal sensors are also in progress which will allow officials to halt vehicles while animals are passing through the corridors.
