Guwahati, June 02 (NKTV): In yet another bizarre incident in Assam, a family from Khowang in Dibrugarh district has received a monthly electricity bill despite not having an electricity connection.
It may be mentioned here that the Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) had installed electric meters at Kawaimari village this year; however, electricity connections were yet to be given.
“We have been assured connections since 2019 but till date, we only have the meters and no electricity” alleged the locals.
