Guwahati, June 17 (NKTV): Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today inaugurated the Kimin-Potin Road at Bilgarh in Lakhimpur.
The double-lane 20 Km road has been constructed by the Border Roads Organization (BRO) and will facilitate the establishment of the proposed industrial belt in Arunachal Pradesh, connecting the state with Lower Subansiri in Assam.
“Border Road Organisation has been playing a pivotal role in constructing and maintaining operational road infrastructure for armed forces in difficult, far flung border areas. The 20 km Kimin-Potin road is yet another marvel by the BRO towards facilitating connectivity” said Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma. “The inauguration of Kimin-Potin Road along with 11 other roads will help in smooth movements of goods and people in inaccessible areas between Assam and Arunanchal Pradesh” the CM added.
