Guwahati, June 17 (NKTV): The state of Assam on Thursday reported 3,477 new positive cases of Covid-19, taking the active caseload to 36,793.
The positivity rate for the state is 2.25 per cent at present.
Further, 41 Deaths were recorded, while 4,949 Patients have recuperated from the infection today.
Of the new cases detected, the highest cases were reported from Sonitpur (338) followed by Nagaon (229), Golaghat (226), and Cachar (220).
Kamrup (Metro) reported 169 new cases.
Recovery rate presently stands at 91.08 per cent.
