Guwahati, June 10 (NKTV): A Jawan named Ritu Bora, posted at the Karbi Langpi Hydro Electric Project, has been missing since June 04. Bora’s father reached out to the Police for help; however, he has alleged that the Police has not given the least importance about his missing son’s case.
It may be mentioned here that Ritu Bora was a Jawan of the Assam Police Battalion posted at the Baithalangso Police Station. The Jawan was on duty when he went missing.
Bora’s family has alleged that he was on duty all alone when he went missing. “Why was he on duty all alone in such an unsafe area?” Bora’s family asked.
Notably, Bora’s service rifle has been recovered around a kilometre from the post of duty.
