Ex-MLA of Chaygaon constituency and former secretary of Assam Cricket Association (ACA), Rana Goswami has succumbed to Covid-19. He suffering from Covid-19 related complication from many days and breathed his last 11 pm on 16th May.
The deceased was a front ranking sports organizer. He immensely contributed as secretary of Assam Cricket Association and as President /Gen. Secretary of Guwahati Sports Association for development of sports in the state.
78-year-old Rana Goswami left behind his wife, son and daughter. Rana Goswami was also given Nurul Amin Sports Organizer award in 2018 by the Veteran Cricket Association of Assam.
