Guwahati, June 13 (NKTV): A team of Golaghat Police today recovered around 2,500 litres of illegal fuel at Rajabari from the premises of one Paramananda Das. The team, led by the Additional Superintendent of Police, also seized an empty tanker.
“We have recovered 20 drums of containing approximately 2,500 litres of fuel. We conducted the raid after receiving information about the illegal business going on here” the ASP informed. Two individuals were present at the premises while the raid was conducted; they have been taken into police custody for interrogation.
Further investigation is underway.
